Nick Rowland
I was born in Hastings where I have lived all of my life. I have always had a keen interest in art and have drawn and painted since childhood. As a result of this my Grandfather use to take me to the various London Galleries. This has played a major role in my artistic career. Due to his encouragement, I have since over the years attended a variety of art classes.

I also studied Art and Design at Hastings College of Arts and Technology ( H.C.A.T ) 2002-2005 The Fisherman’s Beach was my main source of inspiration during the early stages of my career. Which it remains but I have expanded into all areas of the natural world as well as more abstract and , totally imaginative themes. My working methods are to constantly explore new possibilities with techniques, colour and form. I work mainly in acrylics
