Life (but not as we know it).
I didn’t come to St.Leonards On Sea to be overwhelmed by the power and beauty of the sky and the sea, I suppose that was the result of escaping the dehumanising environment of life on “the front line”. I came, like many, as an asylum seeker after 15 years of living in London. I taught full time here for a year (which nearly pushed me over the edge altogether), then one day I moved to a seafront apartment, top floor, out came the paints and everything was alright.
